Love is in the air

It's the month of February and suddenly you see so many promotions everywhere on 'Love'. Probably it gives many of us a chance to take a moment to acknowledge the love in our life! We fail to reciprocate our emotion of love in our every day monotony or the monotony makes our reciprocation a daily event. Either ways love remains untold in our lives.

I have understood the depth of many emotions but love still remains a mystery to me! I sometimes blame it on the English language, for its lack of diction to coin a spectrum of words that convey the depth of love. Love has so many dimensions that, having one word to describe its essence has made it underplay the emotion.

Like what's said widely,  Valentine's day is just not for lovers but for everyone who is in Love with someone and who is not? For many of us who fail to appreciate the love in our lives, it's a day to express ourselves or even better let this Valentine's day mark the beginning of mutual reverence through life's every moment!

True expressions of love can redefine relationships! Explore love - it can help you redefine life!

Over the years, i have tried hard to unravel Love and in this journey i have learned, experienced and practiced Love - today we need an adjective to describe love in its original form and that adjective is 'Unconditional'. We have started advocating that Love needs to be unconditional because somewhere along the history of human civilization, we practiced Love as an emotion of need. Yes, we gave love cause we needed someone to give it back to us! Love is an exchange or so it's been defined.

It has become hard to be unconditional but, it renders an inexplicable satisfaction. Loving without expectation is a bliss - it requires certain deep realizations though, of not being attached but being involved. The famous metaphor is that of the droplet on a Lotus leaf. It's a bit tricky but once you know how to express your love unconditionally, life moves to a higher realm of realization.

Unconditional Love is the torsion energy that would bind the world into a higher consciousness. You can look up the web to explore more about the scientific aspects of Love. It's interesting; may be another post, another day!

Till then, Love Unconditionally.
To begin with Express your Love!

Love is truly a complicated feeling... It's not always possible to live life with the person you love... That is when UNCONDITIONAL comes into picture...!

But it's a beautiful element :)

Divya.. Remember some time back I was skeptical on "Unconditional love."Have tried and tested several things and now I believe its selfless and unconditional love which could make the self better [Implanted self-reference/recursion!].

Love/Hope drives us forward.Without love existence will be difficult.

Divya - Unconditional Love is infact what is already programmed in us (as per what I gather after reading a school of German philosophers). They say our lives are driven by our faculty of 'Blind Will' and this makes us what we are and what we do. This striving is blind, in that it does not really look for pleasure when it starts off, but when it starts to get a taste of pleasure in it, I think it begins to get conditioned. Kinda like the 'conditioned response' to a 'neutral stimuli' that we learn from Pavlov's famous experiment. If we can try not to be get conditioned, then our striving can get unconditional, I suppose.

PS: landed here from indiblogger. I saw that you went from engg to psychology and that really impressed me. Kudos to you!

@ Deepak - Glad you are experimenting :)

@ Vikas - I am able to appreciate that view :) You nailed it well. Could you share pointers to the German Philosophers, would love to read them too!

Thanks for dropping by! Engg->Psychology - wanted to get closer to humanity and get in touch with reality :)

Yes Divya! Nice to see your comments on my blog too. I hope you can pick on my posts and make me think better..

The philosopher I am referring to is Arthur Schopenhauer. His main book is 'The World as Will and Idea' but its kinda complicated for casual readers, so you may want to start by reading his essays.

About your move to Psychology, how do you feel it could take you to reality? Me thinks that it takes you further from reality, because from Engg to Psych you are moving from real world to mental world. Justify please? :)

Unconditional love is very tough but it gives unending happiness. Loved your writing.

@Vikas - Thanks for the reference!

what is reality? It is only a perception right? We don't see the world the way it is, we see it the way we are - famous quote of Anais Nin

Understanding the human mind takes you closer to reality. Yes it is very subtle and not tangible but i believe that is where reality of life lies.

Whereas Engg, and today's mechanical world is more tangible and easier to explore but aren't they all made by man - taking us away from the natural means to life? Hope it justifies my mind's weird working :)

@Raj - Thank you :) It's indeed a beautiful feeling and am humbled by your comments!
